External Overview

When someone starts a business they generally will plan all the processes and have that overall strategic direction in their minds and on the business plan.  Often though, once the hectic real world intervenes then that initial plan is not reviewed.  When things are booming then we see short term tactical solutions implemented quickly without thought as to how that integrates in the overall strategy.  Conversely if things are not progressing well then it becomes a’ Band-Aid’ situation where there is no time to look for the underlying cause so just covering it up is all that happens.

The consultant comes in with that fresh external view of the situation, where they are not so close to the day-to-day activities. They start reviewing and questioning decisions and can help identify where these short term solutions could be improved and integrated with the overall business direction to provide a more profitable outcome.

Service Offerings

I like to offer a business three areas in which they many choose to work with us.

• Firstly it is to look for ways to improve profitability within their existing structure.  Sometimes we find that some quite small changes or improvements in processes can help produce extra profits quickly.
• Next we offer skill development in the form of individual coaching sessions, seminars both in-house and external and on-line articles and training courses.  These can be for arranged for staff from CEO down depending on needs.
• The third area is to work with management on the continued success of the business to achieve their aspirations.  This may take the form of advising on joint ventures with other companies, expansions locally or off-shore or just preparing the business for sale at a future date.

We offer a NO Obligation FREE 2 hour initial face to face meeting where we discuss any concerns or plans the business owner may have.  We give an honest appraisal as to whether we may be able to assist with your needs.  After the initial consultation, if there are areas in which we could assist, we look to implement 90 day plans for our clients with agreed measurable outcomes.
